DAVE COMPLETES 10KM AND RAISES MONEY FOR CANCER RESEARCH

On Sunday 12th July Inspirations Dave Atkins completed his first 10km challenge by running a satisfying 52 minutes and 47 seconds in the Asics British 10km London Run, and in the process raised 780 pounds for Cancer Research.
The 10km race that started at Hyde Park Corner around the major London sites and finishing in Whitehall was completed by Dave in a fancy dress outfit of grass skirt and maracas. Dave did comment that he only spotted about four runners also in fancy dress among the 27,000 that took part in the race.
Dave said after crossing the finishing line, I am knackered, but the run was very fulfilling and I would definitely do it again. Dave is now taking some time out before embarking on his next challenge.
